RUSTIC, MODERN LODGE

OASIS IN THE CITY

Squirrel Creek Lodge is a beautiful, modern, yet rustic lodge in the heart of Colorado. Constructed in the fall of 1996, the lodge itself is situated on 3 acres and surrounded by state park land. Conveniently located near the intersection of 470 & Santa Fe in Douglas County, the lodge provides the perfect setting for your next event, romantic dinner or just a place for you to enjoy a fun evening dancing the night away.

Squirrel Creek is an oasis in the city with beautifully appointed areas, all perfected with a Colorado mountain lodge feel. Solid oak floors, majestic wood walls and cathedral ceilings all enhance your experience. There is also ample free parking for over 200 vehicles on our well lit grounds.

WARM & WELCOMING

SPACIOUS EVENT SPACE

The grand main entrance brings you into the first room of the lodge and provides a large front check-in for guests with its own seating areas, fireplace, shuffleboard table, multiple media panels and a two well bar with seating. There is also a secure coat check if you wish to leave purses or coats.

The game room is situated facing undeveloped state park land to enjoy the wildlife and boasts two professional pool tables, seating for 10 with side tables and a media panel.

ENTERTAINMENT

The main hall has a very large dance floor and stage on one end for a band, state of the art sound and lighting, full effects equipment, seating for 80 to 240 depending on configuration. This includes rustic leather sofas, beautiful wood tables with lodge style wood chairs. There are also three vintage pinball machines for your enjoyment at one end. Also in the main room is a 60 ft. bar with three wells, coolers and multiple media panels.

Attached to the main hall is a four-season heated outdoor porch with seating for 20 with views of the beautiful grounds of Squirrel Creek Lodge.

COMMERCIAL KITCHEN

Our kitchen is modern, clean and very well appointed and is quite large with over 3,700 sq. ft. of prep, cold lines, hot lines and just about everything needed to produce any menu desired. Also included is 1,500 sq. ft. of dry storage, 3 walk-in coolers, 1 walk-in freezer, multiple reach-in coolers and freezers as well as loading dock and ramp access for all of the above.

OUTDOOR SPACE

Our outdoor grounds are designed with you in mind and provide a relaxing, private environment for you to enjoy year-round. There are multiple areas, all surrounded by undeveloped state park with outdoor lighting and multiple wildlife enclosures. Spend some time relaxing in a hammock or refresh in one of our outdoor showers. The outdoor grounds are considered seasonal, although it is weather dependent. There are 11 cabanas with craftsman’s style cedar daybeds, fans, media screens and power to escape the sun or listen to the band away from the crowds. Sitting among the cabanas is a 450 sq. ft. tipi with 4 craftsman’s style lounges, flat panel media and a moss rock fire pit in the middle. This is a popular place to hide away with friends or make new friends. The tipi is open all year.

PERFECT BACKDROP

SCARLAGON STAGE

Just steps from the main lodge, off the outdoor deck is our Scarlagon stage. A beautiful 650 sq. ft. stage with 30’ circle truss for events, bands, weddings or whatever you desire. It is made from cedar and is the perfect backdrop for any event!
